Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or accessing the CertiSend platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a university, business, or organization, you represent that you possess the authority to bind that entity.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all actions taken under your account. You must immediately notify platform administrators of any unauthorized use or security compromise.
3. Acceptable Use and Anti-Spam Prohibition
The platform is exclusively designated for legitimate event, educational, and organizational credential distribution. You explicitly agree not to use the bulk email delivery features for unsolicited marketing, spam, deceptive campaigns, or phishing. All participant email recipients must have a bona fide relationship with your event or program.
4. Uploaded Content and Data Ownership
You represent and warrant that you possess all requisite rights and consents to process participant personal data (names, email addresses) and to display any logos, insignias, or signatures contained on your certificate templates.
5. SMTP Provider Compliance
Email delivery functions using your independently configured SMTP credentials. You are solely responsible for ensuring your email transmission adheres to your provider daily quotas, bounce rate policies, and connection parameters (such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Amazon SES terms). CertiSend does not guarantee inbox receipt once accepted by your designated SMTP server.
6. Storage and File Retention
CertiSend provides temporary workspace storage for certificate templates, participant rosters, and generated PDFs. We recommend archiving generated certificate packages (ZIP downloads or combined PDFs) to your own storage infrastructure upon campaign conclusion. We reserve the right to delete inactive campaigns after notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CertiSend and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party SMTP server outages, email bounce events, or user configuration mistakes.
